It was an unbeatable and lovely location adjacent to a phenomenal waterfall, which could be seen from the windows in the restaurant, and the Solheimajoekull glacier...

The room was quite small and poorly equipped. A dumpster obstructed the lovely view of the waterfall.

The view of the waterfall from the dining room is unreal, just beautiful! We had a good breakfast with all sorts of tasty homemade bread that you just can't forget.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but totally acceptable for what we got.

The double or twin room was clean and comfy with a tv and a private bathroom. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a variety of options like bacon and scrambled eggs. The location is awesome, just a short walk to the fine Skogafoss waterfall. Plus, there's a nice bar and a self-serve coffee machine .

The room amenities felt pretty basic, lacking a kettle or hairdryer, which may. The restaurant prices were on the higher end, and if you're looking for alternative dining options, the nearest places are quite a distance away in Vik. The strong sulfur smell from hot water could also be off-putting for some, though you might get used to it.
